Parinaz Sobhani Joins NexScale as AI Advisor to Advance Agentic AI Strategy for Small Businesses

We’re proud to announce that Dr. Parinaz Sobhani has joined NexScale as our AI Advisor.

With more than 15 years of experience in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and applied AI strategy, Parinaz is one of Canada’s leading voices in AI leadership and innovation. She currently serves as Managing Director and Head of AI at Sagard, a global alternative asset manager with over $30 billion in assets under management, where she leads firm-wide AI transformation initiatives across investment platforms and portfolio companies.

Prior to Sagard, Parinaz served as Head of AI at Georgian, a Toronto-based venture capital firm focused on B2B SaaS companies. At Georgian, she built and scaled the AI team, working with over 50 growth-stage software companies to deliver real-world AI applications that drove product innovation and operational scale. Her work focused on identifying high-impact AI use cases and guiding founders and product leaders through successful execution.

Parinaz holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and NLP from the University of Ottawa and is known for her ability to bridge deep technical knowledge with strategic business execution.
