We are excited to welcome Matt Golt to NexScale as our Domain Expert Product Manager and Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead.

Matt brings a rare combination that matters deeply for what we are building at NexScale: hands-on experience in fitness operations, strong instincts for community and relationship-driven growth, and a proven track record helping early-stage startups translate strategy into revenue and adoption.

At NexScale, we are building an AI Business Partner for boutique wellness and fitness studios. Our focus is clear: help operators improve retention, reduce burnout, and build stronger communities, without adding operational complexity. To do this well, we need deep domain expertise close to the customer. Matt is exactly that.

Why Matt, Why Now

Matt has spent years in the wellness and fitness world, not as an outsider, but as an operator. He has built and managed fitness businesses, coached clients, and lived the day-to-day reality that studio owners face: retention pressure, scheduling constraints, staff coordination, member motivation, and the constant tradeoff between growth and sustainability.

He also brings strong GTM experience across early-stage companies and sales roles, including building repeatable outreach and conversion systems, and stepping up to lead community growth and engagement at scale. In one chapter, he describes wearing two hats: driving revenue outcomes while also leading community efforts, including launching dozens of affinity groups and strengthening feedback loops between members and product teams.
