TORONTO, ON, Monday, Nov 2, 2026 - The Fitness Industry Council of Canada (FIC) and NexScale™ are hosting their first joint session on Thursday 12 November 2026, 2:00 to 3:00 PM ET. It is free, online, and built for Canadian fitness and wellness operators running more than one location.
Stop Losing Members and Revenue: AI for Member Retention

Why this session
When a business runs more than one location, retention stops being something an owner can feel. Strong sites cover weak ones in the roll-up. A member goes quiet at location three and nobody finds out until the cancellation posts. Managers are busy, the data sits in the member management system, and the personal attention that built the first location does not copy across to the fifth.
Many operators treat this as a marketing problem and spend more on acquisition. When members keep leaving quietly, every new sign-up goes into a leaking bucket. Retention is not a marketing problem. It is about noticing early who is pulling away, and acting before they leave.
What the presentation covers
What retention is actually costing you across a group, and why the warning signs arrive six to eight weeks before a cancellation.
Why your exit survey is misleading, and what the research says members actually leave over.
What AI is genuinely good at in a multi-site operation, and what it should never be asked to do.
The three moments worth acting on at every location: milestones, quiet members, and newcomers.
What consistent execution looks like when it runs the same way at every site, with a human approving every message.
Three questions to ask any vendor selling AI to your business, including NexScale.
