We have more exciting news to share: NexScale has been named one of the top 3 finalists in TiE Women 2026, TiE Toronto Chapter, the women founders pitch competition run by TiE, one of the largest entrepreneur networks in the world.
On September 10, 2026, our founder and CEO Dr. Soodeh Farokhi will take the main stage at BVX 2026, the Brampton Venture Expo, at the Rose Theatre in Brampton to pitch NexScale in the TiE Toronto Women Founders Pitch grand finale, in front of founders, investors, and business leaders from across the innovation ecosystem.
How we got here
NexScale was selected for the TiE Women 2026 program in August. The Toronto chapter round brought together early-stage companies founded or co-founded by women for a virtual pitch competition on August 27, where a panel of judges assessed each company on the problem, the solution, market opportunity, differentiation, revenue potential, and founder strength. From that round, three companies were chosen for the grand finale. NexScale is one of them.
The program was also a chance to sharpen how we tell the NexScale story: why retention is the highest-leverage problem in boutique fitness and wellness, and what changes for a lean team when AI takes action instead of adding another dashboard.
Why this matters to us
TiE Women exists because women-founded companies are still underfunded, and where capital goes shapes which small businesses get well-built software. Boutique fitness and wellness is overwhelmingly owner-led, often women-led, and it has been under-tooled for a long time. Standing on this stage as a woman-led company building for that industry feels exactly right.
It also reflects the people we serve. Every day we work with studio, gym, and wellness center owners who carry the full weight of running their business: retention, scheduling, follow-ups, team management, and everything in between. Our AI Business Partner, Chloe, exists to help those owners move from founder-mode to system-mode, so their business runs on systems, not on their exhaustion.
What happens next
The three finalists pitch live on September 10. The winner takes the TiE Toronto Women 2026 title and represents the chapter in the next stage of the global TiE Women program. We will be refining our pitch between now and then, but the substance will not change: practical, human-centered AI that helps wellness and fitness operators grow retention, reduce overwhelm, and scale sustainably.
We also want to say thank you. To the TiE Toronto Women team, for the support and encouragement throughout the program. To our fellow finalists, we are looking forward to cheering you on. And to the studio owners in our community: this milestone belongs to you, too. Everything we have learned about your businesses is what got us on this stage.

NexScale™ is an AI Business Partner for wellness and fitness operators — retention intelligence layered on any CRM they already run, never replacing it. It finds the members slipping away weeks before they cancel, then it acts: a personalized message in the brand voice, sent with the operator's approval, every follow-up handled and reported back.
