Toronto, October 30, 2026. NexScale™ has been selected for Founder Lab, the growth program run by Movement51, the not-for-profit organization of The51. NexScale is one of 20 women-owned ventures selected from across Canada for this cohort, and on November 5 it will take the stage at The51's Road to the Summit in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
About Founder Lab
Founder Lab is a nine-week program run by Movement51 for women-owned ventures from across Canada. Founders work on fundraising, negotiation, strategy, financial planning and growth, with honest feedback from successful female leaders across Canada who have built and scaled companies. Each founder is supported by Champions in Residence, and the cohort ends with a live pitch in front of the community in Halifax.
About Road to the Summit
Road to the Summit is The51's national event series. The Atlantic Canada stop opens the 2027 series, with a full-day summit in Halifax on November 5: live founder pitches, keynotes and panel conversations. It follows sold-out stops in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary.
Why it matters
The51 exists to expand women's role in building, investing in and shaping Canada's economic future. This year's Founder Lab cohort includes founders building in biotech, health tech, climate, food, data and AI, from across the country.
